The Filly and Mares turf race is for 3 year olds and over and is run at nearly the one mile and a half distance and as such is a key race for the Europeans who will have a number of entrants who have been at the op of their game especially the Oaks and there is always a possible entrant from the Aiden O'Brien stable who have many such quality horses and they love to come and take on the Americans. There is a massive prize fund of $3 million for this race.
