It has only been running for ten years, but already it has had some outstanding winners, not least of which was the great Ouija Board, who won the race in both 2004 and 2006. In 2008 the top prize went to the American trained Forever Together who was impressive, she was followed by Midday who won the race for Henry Cecil in 2009 as the European team claimed the win.

There is a massive prize fund of $2 million for this race and one that will be of interest to European punters could be the excellent Dank. The Sir Michael Stoute horse is the defending champion at Santa Anita and although she has only been solid this season, this race has been target all year and she is sure to run a big race.
