Breeders Cup Mile
This is likely to be one of the best races at the 2010 Breeders Cup as the worlds best milers all head to the US to do battle against each other. The race for the last two years has been dominated by the European filly Goldikova who by winning again in 2009 elevated herself to legendary status in Breeders Cup history.
The Mile is open to horses aged three years and older and there six Win and You're in races which mean the winners automatically qualify for the Breeders Cup Mile. These races are The Champions Mile, Woodbine Mile, Del Mar Breeders Cup Mile, Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, the Shadwell Turf Mile Stakes and the Oak Tree Mile Stakes.
