The Breeders Cup Turf Sprint is a new race that was only introduced in 2008 so 2010 will be the third running of the race. It 2009 it was run over 6½ furlongs on the downhill slope at the Santa Anita racecourse but we will wait and see for the exact distance at Churchill Downs in 2010 so watch this space.
There are five ' Win and you're In' races for the turf sprint and they are the Arlington Sprint Handicap, Prix Maurice de Gheest, the Manikato Stakes, the Morvich Handicap, and the Nearctic Stakes. Punters are advised to keep an eye on these during 2010 as they can give some excellent Turf Sprint pointers for 2010.
